Nicole Hildebrandt is the Chief Strategy Officer at American Express. She is responsible for the company’s medium-to-long term enterprise-wide strategy, running the company’s long-range planning process and ensuring alignment between the enterprise, business unit, and M&A strategies.
Prior to joining American Express, Ms. Hildebrandt was a Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), with deep experience in banking and payments. She advised clients in North America and Europe on a range of topics, including growth strategy, large-scale transformation, pricing, and climate and sustainability strategy. Prior to joining BCG, she spent five years in economic and litigation consulting, with a focus on the banking and payments industries.
Ms. Hildebrandt holds a PhD in Economics from New York University and an undergraduate degree from Stanford University.
