Howard Grosfield, Group President, U.S. Consumer Services

Mr. Grosfield is Group President, U.S. Consumer Services with additional responsibility for enterprise-wide technology functions. He leads all aspects of the U.S. Consumer card portfolio, American Express Travel, the Centurion Lounge network, Global Dining, U.S. Consumer Banking, and Amex Offers. He also oversees several global technology-related teams focused on accelerating the digital transformation of American Express’ products and services across the company, including Technology, Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions, and Amex Digital Labs. He leads a team of more than 15,000 colleagues.

Since joining American Express in 2004, Mr. Grosfield has held many positions, including President, U.S. Consumer Services, Executive Vice President & General Manager of U.S. Consumer Marketing and Global Premium Services, Country Manager for American Express Canada and President and CEO of Amex Bank of Canada, and Vice President & General Manager for International Small Business Services.

Previously, Mr. Grosfield worked for The Boston Consulting Group and was a lawyer with Osler in Toronto.

Mr. Grosfield holds a bachelor’s degree and LLB With Distinction from Western University in Canada.
