Ms. Pickett is the President of Enterprise Shared Services (ESS) at American Express. In this role, she oversees functions that are core to the company’s operations, including Global Real Estate & Workplace Experience, Global Supply Management, Business Continuity Management, Aviation, and Global Security. ESS helps keep our company growing and puts our colleagues at the center of everything they do by delivering best-in-class services that power safe, resilient, and efficient operations around the world. She is an Officer of the company and a member of American Express’ Executive Committee.
Ms. Pickett joined the company in 1992 and has held several senior leadership positions, including President of Global Services Group, Chief Risk Officer and President, Global Risk, Banking, and Compliance, President of U.S. Consumer Services, President of American Express OPEN, and Country Manager for American Express Canada and President and CEO of American Express Bank of Canada.
Ms. Pickett currently sits on the Board of Directors for Canadian-based communications technology company, TELUS, and previously served on the United Way of New York City’s Board of Directors. She holds an MBA in marketing from the Schulich School of Business at York University and earned an Honours B.S.C. from the University of Toronto.
