Mohammed Badi
Chief Strategy Officer
Dr. Badi is Chief Strategy Officer at American Express. Dr. Badi joined American Express in October 2018 from The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he was Senior Partner & Managing Director and led the firm's Payments & Transaction Banking Practice globally. Prior to BCG, Dr. Badi earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. He has worked with multiple technology start-ups, has served on the Faculty of both Stanford University and New York University and spent a number of years with NASA's Gravity Probe B Relativity Mission.
Douglas E. Buckminster
Group President, Global Consumer Services
Mr. Buckminster has been Group President, Global Consumer Services, since February 2018, with additional responsibility for credit and fraud risk management and information management across the company. Previously, he had been President, Global Consumer Services Group since October 2015, President, Global Network and International Card Services since February 2012, and President, International Consumer and Small Business Services since November 2009. Prior thereto he had been Executive Vice President, International Consumer Products and Marketing since July 2002. Mr. Buckminster has been with the company since 1985.

Mr. Campbell joined American Express from McKesson Corporation, a health care services company, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2004.

Mr. Gallo has been Executive Vice President, Internal Audit Group and Chief Audit Executive since May 2019. He previously was Executive Vice President, Global Business Services from January 2018 to May 2019, and served as Executive Vice President, Enterprise Strategic Initiatives from January 2015 to December 2017. Prior thereto, he served as Chief Financial Officer for several of the company’s businesses.

Mr. Gordon has been Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer since September 2012. Mr. Gordon joined American Express from Bank of America, where he served as Enterprise Chief Information Officer from December 2011 until April 2012. Prior thereto, he had been Chief Technology Officer, Global Delivery Operation at Bank of America from May 2008 until November 2011. Prior thereto, he had been Chief Information Officer, Global Consumer Bank at Bank of America from September 2004 until April 2008.

Ms. Herena is Chief Human Resources Officer at American Express. She joined American Express in April 2019 from BNY Mellon, where she was CHRO and Senior Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Marketing and Communications since 2014. Previously, Ms. Herena was at PepsiCo in senior HR leadership roles, most recently as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer for PepsiCo Global Groups, Functions and Corporate.

Mr. Joabar joined American Express in 1992.

Mrs. Marrs is President of the Global Commercial Services division at American Express. Mrs. Marrs joined American Express in September 2018 from Standard Chartered Bank, where she ran the ASEAN and South Asia region and was based in Singapore. She joined Standard Chartered from McKinsey & Company where she was a was a Partner in the Global Banking Practice in London. Earlier in her career she ran a financial information and technology company and worked for a hedge fund in New York.
Denise Pickett
President, Global Services Group
Ms. Pickett has been President of the Global Services Group since September 2019. Previously, she served as Chief Risk Officer and President, Global Risk, Banking and Compliance since February 2018; President, U.S. Consumer Services from October 2015 to February 2018; and President, American Express OPEN from February 2014 to October 2015. She has also served as Country Manager for American Express Canada and President and CEO of Amex Bank of Canada. Ms. Pickett has been with the company since 1992.

Ms. Skyler is Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at American Express. She joined American Express in October 2019 from WeWork, where she was Chief Communications Officer since 2016. Previously, Ms. Skyler was at Facebook where she oversaw its consumer communications and data science teams. Ms. Skyler began her career in newsrooms. At CBS, she was part of the team that was nominated for two Emmy awards and won the Alfred I. duPont Award for political coverage during the 2008 election.
